How do you remember what you would rather forget? This question has influenced German politics, culture and society for over seventy years. At tonight’s Soup Versammlung, Anglo-German artist, writer and lecturer, Angela Findlay, will show a few key artworks from Germany’s counter memorial movement that arose from one of the darkest periods of history to shine a way forward for all of us in terms of remembrance.
