WINTER 2018 Workshop
Two Saturdays, 3rd Feb + 10th Feb, 1-5pm
In this workshop you will learn how to measure, cut and sew a Roman Blind.
Following detailed instructions, we will cut out face fabric and lining; accurately press and then stitch it all together by machine and/or by hand. We will learn how to make rod pockets, stitch on velcro and assemble the blind, ready for hanging.
-how to measure a window
-hand stitching: slip stitch, stab stitch
Before Workshop attendees will be contacted with information on how to measure their window and determine the amount of fabric and lining required
Bring: fabric, lining and Purchased Roman Blind kit
*For a traditional Roman blind, we can have wooden lath/dowelling/eye hooks/cord/velcro available for sale at Atelier
Coffee, tea and biscuits included!
Workshop also includes access to Atelier craft club sessions in the week in between the two workshop sessions.
