a Coat from a Blanket
Four Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm – start Oct 2nd (finish on Oct 23rd)
Make a wool coat from a blanket. The pattern we will be using will fit most sizes from teenagers to adults. The pattern is highly adaptable: – you can make a short or a long version. You can apply you own trimmings to create your own personal coat. You will finish with a coat and pattern, that you can make more coats from.
Bring a blanket or contact Josie (07790668051) if you can’t find a suitable one. It’s preferable to get a closely woven wool blanket. If you don’t have one you can get it in the market on Fridays.
Basic sewing skills are required, but most importantly a desire to learn something new and be creative.
Josie use to earn her living in sewing and loves enjoys creating new garments. especially upcycling old material.
Atelier has sewing machines but you are welcome to bring your own.
